Three years ago today, I watched along with millions of others all over the world as Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot at Westminster Abbey.  So in honor of the anniversary of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, I got to thinking…what would the version of my Royal London daydream look like?

Although quite different from the grandeur of Will & Kate’s big day, I think my charming soiree would be quite lovely.  Inspired by tea parties, scones with a spot of jam and a love of vintage charm, here is my London daydream, perfectly suited for any celebration of love!

I hope you are having a lovely week and until next time, remember to “Keep Calm and Marry On”.  XO

Happy Thursday friends!  Today, I want to share with you something incredibly special – The Drawing Hope Project.

Started by photographer Shawn Van Daele, the goal of this amazing cause is to bring magic, adventure and hope to children living with severe health conditions and helping them believe that anything is possible!

Children from all over the world submit their drawings to Shawn and he turns them into the most epic, fun, colorful photographs, giving these amazing children a sense of hope and amazement when they see themselves as superheroes, butterfly fairies, explorers…anything they can imagine!

The project started when Shawn had the idea to use his crazy-amazing talents to give back.  In a short period of time, he has been able to impact people from all over the map, especially the families who struggle every day with the challenges that come from seeing their child suffer through complicated health conditions; but most of all the children, who upon seeing themselves in their photos explode with joy and light and get the opportunity to see themselves for what they truly are:  superheroes.

In the last few weeks The Drawing Hope Project has received huge exposure ranging from Huffington Post, The Today Show, ABC News, CityTV and numerous other sites and blogs.  It makes my heart so happy to see such a deserving cause get the attention it deserves.

All of the photos in The Drawing Hope Project are done free of charge.  There is no cost for children and their families to participate.  You can support the project and help Shawn continue to bring joy to many, many more kiddies by making a donation on his GoFundMe page and you can also purchase one (or a whole bunch!) of these super cool and fun t-shirts and sweatshirts, also designed by Shawn himself.

All proceeds from sales and all donations go right back into the project.  Awesome, right?!

Please take a few minutes today and spend some time on The Drawing Hope Project’s site, check out the amazing photos, make a donation if you can, share it with friends and be inspired.  Be sure to like the Facebook page for regular updates and follow along on Twitter as well!  And if you’re on Instagram, you can find Shawn here.

Thank you kindly for stopping by today.  Lots of love! XO

I recently came across something that made my heart beat a little faster.  Have you heard of Chateau de Gudanes?  Built in the 1700’s, and listed as a Classic 1 Historic Monument, the decaying chateau stands majestically in the small village of Chateau Verdun in the South of France.  In 2013, Australian husband and wife team Karina and Craig Waters purchased the castle and are taking on a major (MAJOR!) renovation in an effort to bring this impressive gem back to its original gleam.

So dreamy, right?!  The best part is that they have started a blog to document the journey and share the process of this massive undertaking – showing us the history, architecture and hidden treasures they are uncovering along the way.

I know I will be following along.  How about you?

For more peeks into the chateau, be sure to follow along on Instagram and Facebook.
